Amazing meal at Olivares today, we went for the set meal option and it was more than enough for two of us. The dishes were served quickly and each one was faultless. Our favourites were the croquettes and the mushrooms in a creamy sauce (not pictured). We also tried the calamari which was so light and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back!

Nice old building near castle. Steps inside are very steep, but it is part of the charm of the restaurant. We were on the top floor, so we used all the steps and got our climbing badge!! Service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing and full of flavour, and it came out at a nice pace, too. Loved the prawns in garlic, lemon, honey, and chilli. Every dish was great. My only small minor negative was that the seating area at the table was a bit snug, but by no means impacted our enjoyment. It was definitely worth the price, which was reasonable

This place serves authentic high quality Spanish food. Key major strengths are the fact they use high quality ingredients and the chef that runs this bar/restaurant is Spanish and takes great pride in the food he serves. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the selection of wines. This is REAL Spanish food, approved by a fellow Spaniard. You'll enjoy this place regardless of nationality if you enjoy great food

An absolute gem that completely stole my heart! A small tapas restaurant with a big atmosphere and an amazing vibe. The location is perfect – ideal for an evening out with friends, a romantic dinner, or a relaxed lunch, like we had. The interior is charming and full of character – you can really feel that this place was created with passion and love. And the food? Delicious! Every single tapa was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell they care deeply about the quality and the details. The staff is the true treasure here! We were served by Jack – incredibly friendly, attentive, and with great intuition. His recommendations were spot on – everything we ordered suited our tastes perfectly. We wouldn’t change a thing! The whole team was absolutely lovely – warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They made the experience even more special. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. If you're looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service – this is it! Highly recommend!

Lovely little place with fantastic staff and fantastic food . We're visiting Lincoln for my birthday and we have our dog with us so we were looking for dog friendly places . This place came up with others but sounded interesting, so we booked in, and it was fantastic . The staff were very professional and friendly and had great knowledge of the menu . The food was fantastic, the portions were generous, and the flavour was spot on. To our surprise there were also far more vegetarian options than we expected! Between the two of us, we had 5 dishes and then a dessert, and it was more than enough ! We would highly recommend this place if you're in the area! And we will certainly be back in the future .

Thanks Olivares! We had a fabulous time and Tapas were lovely :-)! Even though we had to change our booking from a group of eight down to four at last notice, we were welcomed warmly. Not all of the team knew about our original special arrangements, (e.g. time slots), but all were kind and helpful. A special thanks to Gem, who kept looking flexibly at our initial requirements being met :-) . We felt perfectly looked after) Food was great and with our wishes, when to serve what, food and drinks, the service team was supportive and friendly, professional at all times. We had a meal recently and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and it came out quickly. The atmosphere was also amazing, very quirky building and layout, which made it feel very unique and memorable. The service was also brilliant, they really looked after us. We paid about 35 quid a head, which i thought was very reasonable, especially considering how good everything was. Fantastic restaurant and will definitely be visiting again.

I feel a little embarrassed to say I’ve walked past Olivares so many times & never eaten there. So glad I decided to try it as it is an absolute gem of a place. The restaurant was extremely busy as it was a Saturday night but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They made us feel welcome & were very efficient, attending to all the tables & ensuring everyone was happy. The food was spot on, yes it’s a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. All the dishes arrived super quick & were hot & fresh & tasted amazing. Olivares is such a cosy restaurant with amazing service & top quality authentic tapas dishes. I will be visiting again.
